REMINDER: Today is an EARLY RELEASE DAY! Kindergarten will be released at 12:30 PM and 1:35 PM for grades 1-12.

 

The student leadership group is promoting a school spirit day for Homecoming this Friday. We encourage everyone to wear RED, BLACK & WHITE!  

 

NEW CHIEFTAIN HATS FOR SALE!! Available in the main office for $20/each. 
Limited quantity available – if any are remaining, we’ll also plan on having these for sale at the games this weekend.

MS volleyball practice all week:  3:30-4:45.  Come early if you can to set up the net.

 

Any boys grades 6-8th interested in playing volleyball are welcome to join the team. You must have a physical turned in to Mrs. Larson or Teresa before practicing.

Saving Endangered Species Youth Art Contest! The ESC is pleased to announce our Youth Art Contest, which is open to K-12 students, including those who are homeschooled or belong to a youth/art program. The contest is an integral part of the 12th annual Endangered Species Day on May 19, 2017. All entries must be received by March 1, 2017. For more information, please come to the office for a list of contest guidelines.

 

Klawock Boys & Girls Club Power Hour (homework help) will be held as follows: 
Mondays - Thursdays: 2:30-3:30; Friday 1:35-2:35 in the Home Ec Room.

Also, if your child is 8 years old and up, please consider signing them up to be a club member, thank you! -Club Manager: Teresa Fairbanks 

 

NOTICE: Subs Needed! Qualifications: HS Diploma, Ability to work effectively with children of all ages, successfully pass a background check and fingerprinting, Flexible schedule. For more information, please contact Val in the District Office at 755-2220 from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

MS Volleyball mini-camp this Saturday, February 4th from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. This is open to all girls 5th - 8th grade and boys 6th - 8th.  It is free - all you need is court shoes and gym cloths.  Please let Mrs. Larson know if you plan to attend.

 

Klawock Boys & Girls Club Power Hour (homework help) will be held as follows: 
Mondays - Thursdays: 2:30-3:30; Friday 1:35-2:35 in the Home Ec Room.

Also, if your child is 8 years old and up, please consider signing them up to be a club member, thank you! -Club Manager: Teresa Fairbanks 

 

NOTICE: Subs Needed! Qualifications: HS Diploma, Ability to work effectively with children of all ages, successfully pass a background check and fingerprinting, Flexible schedule. For more information, please contact Val in the District Office at 755-2220 from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

 

ANY possible bus changes need to be made before 12 PM DAILY.

 

Open Gym: Monday – Thursday from 7:00-9:00 PM.
