Last week our middle school and high school students experienced the first of a two-week excursion in an area of interest. Excursions included auto mechanics, jewelry engraving, beading, filmmaking, outdoor lore, art exploration, and robotics/STEM. Excursions were added to the schedule this year to provide students with experiences in a potential field of interest as well as to pursue options that do not fit into their regular schedule. Each of the students gained new knowledge and skills and are looking forward to the second half, the last week of school.
